Kyoto Station was extremely photographable. Apparently, it was very contraversial when built (doesn't fit in with the 'old buildings' theme of Kyoto), but is definately worth seeing if you're in the area!

The inner-courtyard garden of our very pleasant hotel in Tokyo. When we got in at around 16:00, it was as dark as night, thanks to (we think) a typhoon drenching the city with a deluge. We got very, very wet.

We were so embarrassed to be dripping water all over the lovely hotel... *
